Dynasty trade calculator

Add the players and rookie picks each side would receive, match your league settings, and see which side gets more value.

How values are calculated →
QB format
Scoring
More settings 12 teams · TE +0 · bench 15
What do these settings mean?
Superflex or 1QB
In Superflex leagues, one flex spot can start a quarterback, so quarterbacks are worth more. 1QB leagues start a single quarterback.
PPR, Half PPR or Standard
Points per reception: a full point, half a point or none. More reception points raise the value of pass catchers.
TE premium
Extra points per catch for tight ends only, added on top of your league’s reception scoring.
Teams
Your league size, from 8 to 32 teams. More teams means fewer startable players to go around.
Bench + taxi
Roster spots per team beyond your starting lineup, taxi squad included. Leave out IR, kicker and defense spots.

Guide

How to use this calculator

  1. Set your league. Choose Superflex or 1QB and your scoring, then open More settings for league size, TE premium and bench depth. Values change with each setting.
  2. Add both sides. Search for the players and rookie picks each team would receive, up to eight per side. Keep a whole package on the same side.
  3. Read the result. The totals, the gap and the balance scale show which side gets more value. The what-if table shows how easily that answer could change.

How the calculator scores a trade

Every player and pick has a value for the league format you choose. We add up each side, subtract Side B’s total from Side A’s, and divide that difference by the larger total to get a percentage. When the gap is 5% or less in either direction, we call the trade near even.

Near even means the numbers are close. It doesn’t mean the trade is right for your team: a contender and a rebuilding team can both have good reasons to make the same deal. Our trade value guide walks through the math step by step.

Two-for-one trades

The calculator adds values exactly as they are. It doesn’t give a bonus for landing the best player in the deal, and it doesn’t take points away for filling extra roster spots. If you’re getting two or three players for one, ask whether you have room to roster them and whether they would actually start for you. Our guide covers consolidation trades in more detail.

Superflex vs. 1QB trade values

In Superflex leagues a quarterback can fill a flex spot, so quarterbacks usually carry much more trade value than they do in 1QB leagues. Switching between Superflex and 1QB loads a separate set of values for that format. We don’t apply a quarterback multiplier of our own. Scoring, TE premium, league size and bench depth change the values too.

Custom scoring, such as six-point passing touchdowns, yardage bonuses or points for first downs, isn’t supported. If your league uses it, choose the closest standard format and treat the result as a rough guide. For a deeper look at how the QB setting moves values, read Superflex vs. 1QB in dynasty.

Common questions

Is the dynasty trade calculator free?

Yes. There’s no account, sign-up or league login, and no limit on how many trades you compare beyond normal protection against automated traffic.

Can I include rookie draft picks?

Yes. Search for a year and round, such as “2027 1st” or “2028 2nd,” and add picks alongside players on either side. First-round picks come in early, mid and late tiers. For pick-only deals, the draft pick trade calculator keeps searches limited to picks.

Does it support TE premium and Half PPR?

Yes. TE premium from +0.25 to +1 per catch, PPR, Half PPR and Standard scoring, 8 to 32 teams and bench depth from 0 to 40 are all supported. Each combination loads its own values.

Why does another calculator show a different result?

Every calculator builds values its own way, from real trades, crowd voting, analyst rankings or models, and they update at different times. A different answer isn’t necessarily wrong. Compare within one source and one format, and use the what-if table to see how close the call really is.

Can it tell me whether the other manager will accept?

No. The calculator compares value. It doesn’t know your leaguemates, their rosters or their plans, so treat the result as a starting point for the conversation.
