Summary

Information you give us
Emails. If you email support@dynastytradegrid.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it to answer you, look into the problem you reported and improve the site. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
The website has no contact forms, sign-up forms or account features, so we don’t collect anything else directly from you.
Information collected automatically
Calculator requests. When you search or compare a trade, your browser sends our server your search text, the IDs of the players and picks you selected, and your league settings. We use them to return results. We don’t keep a history of your searches or trades unless you create a share link.
Server logs. Like most websites, our server keeps logs to keep the site running and secure. Our standard request log records the time, the type of request, the response code and how long the response took. It doesn’t record your IP address or the page you visited. When something goes wrong, error logs may record details of the failed request, which can include an IP address and the address requested.
Abuse prevention. We count requests by IP address for about a minute at a time to limit automated traffic and keep the service available. These counters are stored in a form that doesn’t keep your IP address in readable text, and they expire on their own.
Cookies
We set two first-party cookies, and both expire after two hours:

Both cookies are needed for the calculator to work, so there’s no setting to turn them off on our site. You can delete them in your browser at any time. We don’t use advertising, analytics, social media or other third-party cookies. Because we don’t track you across websites, we don’t change how the site works in response to Do Not Track or similar browser signals.
Shared comparisons
When you select Share comparison, we save the players and picks on each side, your league settings, the value source, the date the link was created and when it expires. The link uses a long random code. We don’t ask for or store your name, email address or IP address with it.
Anyone who has the link can open the comparison, so share it only with people you want to see it. Links expire after 90 days, and expired comparisons are deleted from our database by a daily cleanup.
Service providers and third parties
- StatChasers supplies player and pick values. Our server requests values for a league format from StatChasers. Those requests include only the league settings. Your browser doesn’t contact StatChasers when you use the calculator, and we don’t send StatChasers your search text, selections, IP address or any personal information.
- Hosting. The website and its database run on servers rented from DigitalOcean, which processes the data described here only to provide that service.
- Email. Messages to our support address are handled by our email service provider.
Our fonts and scripts are served from our own website, not from third-party networks. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if we’re required to by law or need to protect the site and its users from abuse.
Links to other websites, including StatChasers, are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Our cookies are restricted to our website, the session cookie can’t be read by page scripts, and requests that change data are protected against cross-site request forgery. Share links use long random codes, and we limit request rates to prevent abuse. No website can be perfectly secure, but we collect very little personal information to begin with.
Children
Dynasty Trade Grid isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices and requests
You can use the calculator without creating a share link, and you can clear our cookies through your browser. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have a support email or a shared comparison deleted, email support@dynastytradegrid.com. For a shared comparison, include its link so we can find it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law, and we’ll respond to requests as applicable law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles information, for example by adding analytics or advertising, we’ll update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
