QB format
Scoring
More settings 12 teams · TE +0 · bench 15
What do these settings mean?
Superflex or 1QB
In Superflex leagues, one flex spot can start a quarterback, so quarterbacks are worth more. 1QB leagues start a single quarterback.
PPR, Half PPR or Standard
Points per reception: a full point, half a point or none. More reception points raise the value of pass catchers.
TE premium
Extra points per catch for tight ends only, added on top of your league’s reception scoring.
Teams
Your league size, from 8 to 32 teams. More teams means fewer startable players to go around.
Bench + taxi
Roster spots per team beyond your starting lineup, taxi squad included. Leave out IR, kicker and defense spots.

How rookie picks are valued

Values for rookie picks come from the same source as player values, for the same league settings. The source currently lists picks for three upcoming rookie drafts. Each pick is labeled by draft year and round, and first-round picks are split into three tiers.

What each pick label means
LabelWhat it covers
Early 1stA first-round pick expected near the top of the round
Mid 1stA first-round pick expected in the middle of the round
Late 1stA first-round pick expected near the end of the round
2nd through 5thAny pick in that round. Each round has a single value

Early, mid and late are ranges, not exact slots

An early first describes where a pick is expected to land, not a guaranteed 1.01 or 1.03. Until your league’s draft order is set, you don’t know exactly where a pick will fall. If you’re unsure, compare the trade with an early, a mid and a late version of the pick to see how much the answer depends on it.

We use the labels and values exactly as the source provides them. We don’t create values for specific slots like 1.05.

This year’s picks vs. future picks

A pick in next year’s draft and a pick two years out answer different questions: when you can use it, and how much you know about it. Picks further away come with more uncertainty about the draft class and where your league’s teams will finish. Each draft year has its own value from the source. We don’t apply an extra discount of our own.

Superflex and 1QB pick values

Pick values are loaded separately for each format, so the same pick can be worth a different amount in a Superflex league than in a 1QB league. Switch the QB format above to compare. Scoring, TE premium, league size and bench depth also affect pick values. See how Superflex changes values for the bigger picture.

Trading up or down in a rookie draft

The pick calculator is built for draft-day offers. To check a trade up, put the pick you want on one side and the picks you’d give up on the other, for example a 2027 Early 1st against a 2027 Mid 1st plus a 2027 2nd. If the result is near even, the price is fair by these values. If not, the gap shows roughly how much one side would need to add.

Trading down works the same way in reverse. Remember that more picks means more rookies to roster, which matters if your bench or taxi squad is already full.

Before you trade a pick

  • Confirm the pick’s year and whose pick it originally was. The calculator uses general tiers, not a specific team’s pick.
  • Each pick label can appear only once per trade. Packages with two picks of the same label, such as two 2028 2nds, can’t be modeled exactly.
  • Rookie picks often matter more to rebuilding teams than to contenders. The values don’t know which one you are.
